CINEMA DAY

“Cinema Day 2024” returns! Enjoying tremendous!

"Cinema Day 2024" is funded by Hong Kong Development Fund and Create HK, aslo as one of the activities of "Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival 2024". The first Cinema Day was held in 2023, it was well received by members of the public and the participation rate recorded a highest single-day record (nearly 222,000)! This year, Hong Kong Theatres Association will continue its efforts and organize the "Hong Kong Cinema Day" again, aiming to encourage all members of the public visit cinema at a surprise fare, and experience the unparalleled collective viewing experience of watching movies in the cinemas, as well as to promote cinema culture!

Applicable to all commercial cinemas, included: ACX Cinemas @ Harbour North│Broadway Circuit│Chinachem Circuit│Cine-art House Circuit│Cinema City Circuit│ CGV D2 Place│Emperor Cinemas Circuit│Golden Harvest Circuit│Golden Scene Cinema│Lumen Cinema│Lux Theatre│ MCL Circuit│Newport Circuit│Sunbeam Theatres│(applicable to VIP house, and the VIP House will not provide food and beverages)(listed by alphabetical order)

Except for the first show of the seniors and the seniors' early session discounts below HK$30 will be remained. There will be no senior, children and students ticket price, all kind of ticket price will be standardized at HK$30. All other cinema discounts and movie coupons/vouchers will not be applicable on that day.

Start from 12:00n on 17 April 2024, tickets will be sold at the box office of all theatres and their online ticketing websites (Except the box office of ACX Cinema @ Harbour North will open at 14:00 and the Lux Cinema will start pre-sale on 20 Apr 2024). Each person can only purchase a maximum of 4 tickets at the box office of the theatre.
